Biography
Aimee is a Principal and Technical Director in Gensler's Washington, D.C. office and a Design Realization Leader for the Southeast region, using her knowledge of design, code compliance, and the realities of construction to link design concepts with constructible solutions.
Aimee resolves the thorny issues that threaten to derail a project while it is still on the page. Working from inception through construction with design teams, engineers, and contractors, she finds solutions amid a tangle of technical challenges, devising feasible answers that stay true to the design intent. With a critical eye, she reviews drawings for quality assurance and ensures that all project documentation is above par. For Aimee, great design and true innovation lie in the details, and few can match her when it comes to working them out.
