Biography
Across her 45-year career at Gensler, Robin helped shape the firm’s evolution, expand its global impact, and mentor future leaders.
As Chair Emeritus and Advisor to the Board of Directors, Robin continues to provide strategic counsel grounded in design leadership, workplace expertise, and organizational stewardship. Robin joined Gensler in 1980 as the 24th employee in the New York office and served for more than 25 years as Managing Principal of the Northeast region. She helped establish offices in Canada and Latin America and held leadership roles on the firm’s Executive and Management Committees. A longtime workplace leader, Robin guided landmark projects for The New York Times and the Ford Foundation. She chairs the Gensler Academic Partnership Fund and has been recognized with IIDA College of Fellows membership, the Interior Design Hall of Fame, and the Art Gensler Lifetime Achievement Award.
