Biography
As Managing Director of Gensler's Tampa office, Bert has cultivated lasting client relationships and led complex projects for a diverse portfolio of corporate, professional services, financial services, mixed-use, retail, and hospitality clients throughout the Tampa Bay region and across the United States.
Bert's leadership spans multiple practice areas, including workplace, mixed-use, and aviation. Throughout his career, he has specialized in leading national accounts, serving as a trusted client steward who ensures continuity, consistency, and excellence across projects and teams. His passion for building lasting relationships and delivering exceptional client service shapes both his approach to client engagement and his development of future leaders within the firm. He has overseen the design and delivery of millions of square feet of law firm space and is a member of Gensler's Law Firm Task Force.
I've always believed our role extends beyond designing spaces. Great design starts with listening to our clients, collaborating as one team, and creating places that strengthen the communities we serve. As designers, we have the privilege of partnering with clients to shape stronger businesses, more vibrant communities, and a better future.
